Blade of Retribution

In Blade of Retribution, we follow the story of Shi-ho Ye (also spelled Si ho or Shiho) — once a top Kendo champion, he now juggles life helping his single mother run a Gukbap restaurant. His world shatters when his sister, Shiyeon, seemingly commits suicide. Yet at her funeral, Shi-ho realises something is very wrong: this was no simple tragedy, but murder. Consumed by grief and rage, he decides to pick up the blade again — not for sport, but to unravel the truth behind his sister’s death and to punish those who drove her to this fate.

As he plunges into the darker side of society, Shi-ho discovers that the world of martial arts, gangs, business conglomerates and underworld politics are deeply intertwined. His sword becomes both a tool of redemption and a weapon of vengeance. Each fight draws him deeper into a web of secrets: shadowy figures who pull strings, corrupted elites who hide behind legitimacy, and betrayals from unexpected quarters. As Shi-ho ascends in physical might, he must also fight his inner demons — the guilt over his sister, the burden of responsibility towards his mother, and the risk of losing his humanity in his pursuit of revenge.
